Con el tiempo, esto supone muchas horas de trabajo – un tiempo que puede utilizarse para actividades más productivas. ¿Ha pensado alguna vez en la cantidad de tiempo que su personal pasa manejando efectivo? #### 45 minutos al día Las rutinas diarias de la entrega del cajón a un cajero, su recogida al final de un turno, el conteo del efectivo del cajón y la conciliación con el informe de ventas en el cierre del turno requieren al menos 45 minutos por cajero. También hay que tener en cuenta el tiempo que se dedica al conteo del fondo de caja durante el día. Al final del día también hay que efectuar la conciliación. Y también está, por supuesto, todo el tiempo dedicado a contar el dinero para cada una de las compras en las cajas. #### 15 horas a la semana Por razones de seguridad, normalmente se requiere que sean dos los empleados que cuentan el efectivo en la oficina de gestión. Si en su establecimiento tiene varios turnos al día y un par de cajas, el tiempo dedicado al manejo de efectivo puede alcanzar fácilmente varias horas al día. Si contabiliza el tiempo total dedicado al manejo de efectivo cada día, semana o mes, pronto comprenderá que se dedica un número de horas considerable a esta tarea no productiva. En una tienda media, esta cifra puede ser de hasta 15 horas a la semana. Sin embargo, esta situación puede corregirse. Utilizando una solución de manejo de efectivo automático, la cantidad de tiempo dedicada al manejo de efectivo puede reducirse en más de la mitad. #### Automatización de la gestión del efectivo Una solución de manejo de efectivo automático elimina de la jornada laboral de los cajeros un gran número de rutinas que requieren una gran cantidad de tiempo. Las discrepancias de caja inexplicables son cosa del pasado. Los cajeros ya no tienen que contar el dinero del cajón o realizar las tareas administrativas en la oficina. El cliente siempre recibe el cambio correcto; las colas en las cajas se reducirán y se podrá atender a más clientes. El personal puede centrarse en los clientes y en generar ventas en lugar de en el efectivo. #### Ahorro de tiempo y mayor seguridad La idea básica de una solución de manejo de efectivo automático consiste en automatizar la totalidad del proceso del manejo de efectivo. La máquina efectúa el conteo, el seguimiento, los informes, el transporte y el almacenamiento del efectivo.
